I went to two fun events yesterday.
The first one was Carol’s retirement reception at my old school. It was so fun to see all of the people there. It had been a long time since I’ve seen some of them. I didn’t get nearly enough time with any of them though. I said to many people that we need to get together again soon. I’ve got to get on that! I didn’t take a picture of the reception, but I did take a picture of my truck in my favorite parking place from when I used to teach there.
The trees are so much bigger than they used to be.
The second event was a spaghetti dinner at my current school. I was the “bartender”. That is, I poured wine for or gave a beer to people. Again, lots of fun chatting. The time flew by as I sat at my bartender’s table.
The boxed wines were pretty good. I tasted them in case someone wanted to know how the wine was.
That was a full day! I saw a photo of your crew at Carol’s on Facebook. You all look good 🙂 (I would need help with some names, though.)
So you made it to the psghetti dinner on time after all? What a whirlwind day for you! Thank you for coming to my swoire/party/celebration/reunion. The time did fly by, didn’t it? Agreed for the need to lather, rinse and repeat some time soon.
[I thought it was funny that we both gravitated to our old parking spaces. Old habits die hard.]
