Yesterday was cleanup day for the play. The students did not come in to school. We teachers did though, and we put all the props away, dismantled the stage, and cleaned the pews and floor.
We were done before noon, and I headed to Towson for lunch with Peggy. Yay! I haven’t seen her in months. We had a great time catching up.
And of course I forgot to take a picture, so instead, here’s a picture I texted her when I told her how surprised I was that there was heavy traffic on the beltway during the day. During the day!

So glad you two had time to chat and chew Friday despite the traffic, which this week has been weird by us as well – much construction 9 am – 3 pm so that if you have to drive then it’s hurryupandwait all over. Welcome, summer…
