I spent most of the day cleaning and organizing the house. Brent and his family were on their way. He even sent me a link to track their progress. What a wonderful incentive to do housework. It was really effective!
Of course the only thing I took a picture of was the thing I didn’t finish: the heater cover in my living room. It has been my makeshift business desk for many years now. At least the paper buildup this time only dated back to 2013. I did get a lot of sorting done, but I didn’t get the surface cleared off, so there will be no ‘after’ picture.
The family arrived just in time for dinner. We went to Gino’s, had various meals, and finished off with milkshakes. Mmm…
Today I get some hang out time with everybody. Yay!
Well done! I have spent way too much time trying to figure out who the people are on that tote bag. The top guy looks like Rick Moranis, the rest look like elves.
Have fun with your family!
Also, after reading this, do one last life lesson before school is out: handshakes.

Heh. What an incredibly detailed thought process she has.
We did handshakes last year. I told the kids that as they engage in a handshake, they should watch their hand until the “thumb pits” touch (I did not use that term though), and then they should look the other person right in the eyes while they shake hands. We watched a couple of videos about hand position and hand pressure. There are some theories about what a dominant person does during a handshake.
ENJOY Your Family Time!!!! That Means ALL Of You!!!! <3 Aunt Bev 🙂
