Tetanus Vaccination

I got a tetanus vaccination yesterday. I’m putting it here in the memory archive, because yesterday when I went to the doctor for a physical, the doctor’s assistant asked me when my last tetanus shot was, and I didn’t know. I couldn’t even tell you if it was closer to five years ago or twenty five years ago.

The rest of the exam went well. The doctor took pictures of two moles, then sent me for some bloodwork. I’m curious to see what my cholesterol levels are. The results are supposed to come in next week.

The facility is nice.

After the visit, I went to the parking lot and fell asleep in my truck. I am so happy that I can sleep in this morning.

Sheesh – a parking lot nap? That island is wearing you out. Sleep in in until noon today! Enjoy your rabies-free time, too.

Did anything in particular prompt the tetanus shot? I mean, the last time I got one (gee…when was that again anyway? 😉 ) I had just stepped on an aluminum roofing nail left in our front yard from a careless nobodyonourblockhadtheirroofredonethen-whattheheck? individual. Yes, I know aluminum won’t rust, but you never know what else is living on the nail. Anyway, I doubt that anybody normally goes for a shot unless he really needs one, so…and glad you could get a nap when you needed one and that nobody had you arrested for vagrancy while you snoozed in your vehicle.
