Since Friday was payday, I finally have some money to do something I’ve been wanting to do for a couple of weeks: I got Amazon Prime! Woo hoo! The pledge of free shipping applies even to Maui! Awesome! And the shipping times aren’t bad.
I knew exactly what I wanted my first Amazon Prime order to be: ChicoBags! Plastic grocery bags are outlawed here on Maui, so I need some reusable bags to carry purchases. Many stores here offer reusable bags, but they’re kind of cloth-like squarish shopping bags. Those won’t stuff in my shorts pockets! ChicoBags to the rescue!
They’ll be here sometime next week.

Yea for Hawaii for banning plastic bags! Now one query: I am confused by photos on the Amazon site, as many of them look “square-ish” and would not fit in cargo pockets either – and why would they need to in the first place? We carry a few of those collapsible but square-bottomed bags in our car for grocery shopping (at least) and they never have to go in anyone’s purse or pants pocket, so…?? But Happy Prime-ing anyway!

I get it now – entire bag fits in pouch, which fits in cargo pants, so one is less likely to leave bag in car when needed. Bingo! Thanks for clearing that up, Coach.

Did you get regular size or Vita?
I didn’t know about Vita. Is it larger or smaller? My searches seem to suggest it’s a little narrower, but a few inches deeper.
It’s larger. The advantage that I like is you can sling it over your shoulder when it’s full. One or two would do. Send me your address. 😀
