I spent most of yesterday at school. I didn’t grade anything, but I did a bunch of other stuff. I tried writing down when I started and finished each task to help keep me on task. Most things took an hour.
Picking out psalm settings for advent services? One hour. Filling out recommendation forms for eighth graders? One hour. Straightening my desk and other cleaning? One hour.
Cleaning the desk was the most visible thing I did. I took before and after pictures.

That was a very productive day. I am quite impressed! Deborah’s right – your desk is beautiful! So clean and tidy, and the wood top is rather unusual for most school desks I’ve seen. It looks like it belongs to an executive.
