My day yesterday started with an amazing surprise! Karla got me a neck pillow for my flight home. It was on my doorstep in the morning. It isn’t actually a pillow… it’s more of a brace. It’s called a Trtl. It’s very comfortable. I tried it on right away.
You can put the brace part on either side. The weight of your head is supported by your shoulder.
For my first day in Baltimore, I decided to go to some of my old regular haunts. It was fun to see them again.
First stop, Arundel Mills Mall. I resisted buying some inexpensive tshirts, but I did spend some money on a new power cord for my phone. The old one bent right where I plug it in to my phone, and has torn open and looks like exposed wires. Yikes!
My next stop was Homestead Gardens. I love that place! They had all kinds of spring flowers in the greenhouse. It smelled wonderful!
After that, I stopped at Denis’ work place. He had to drop some treats off for some people at work. There was a squirrel outside the hospital. I was excited to see it, because there aren’t any squirrels in Hawaii. It moved right when I tried to take a picture. All I got was its tail.
Denis stopped at the Filipino store, where we got some delicious dinner. Then I had a relaxing evening at the old house.
She got you the Trtl!! I am dying to try that when you next come over! That style makes a lot of sense to me: just stabilizing the neck. Way to go, Karla!!
How nice to go to your old hangouts, too! This is going to be a nice vacation. š
Happy sleeping, my friend!
Walking around a nursery in the middle of a cold grey winter is one of my favorite things to do to wake up my soul. Iām glad you got to go.
