An Eventful Night

Our spring musical was last night. It was the culmination of many many hours of rehearsal. It went really well. We do our spring musical at the main music venue on Maui. It’s a beautiful theater with all the accouterments. There is also a stage crew that does all the lighting, sound, and curtain stuff for us. It costs a pretty penny, but it’s worth it.

I stood in the wings to help with troubleshooting.

On my way home, I passed through a sobriety checkpoint. I don’t remember ever going through one of these before. They weren’t checking everybody; they were selecting certain drivers for closer inspection. I wasn’t selected.

That orange diamond-shaped sign says: sobriety checkpoint ahead.

Whew. Good thing you guys didn’t whoop it up after the show! (That show looks so professional. You’re right about money well spent.)

I don’t think I’ve ever seen ‘accouterments’ written out before, only sp0ken.

I had to use the computer spelling check on accouterments. I would have spelled it “tre”.
