I can’t remember if I said that I’ve been looking for a place to buy. I started in October. It was a month too late. Just a month earlier, it seems like I was seeing places in my price range. One month later, and things were suddenly much more expensive. Yikes!
I’ve had a patient realtor. He’s shown me a bunch of different places. I had a list of things I wanted in a place, but nothing I could afford had them all. I slowly started taking things off the list, but it was difficult.
In the end, I found a condo in the same complex I’ve been renting in. I love this complex. The people are nice, it has lovely landscaping, the condo fees are comparatively low, and it’s a great location – north of Kihei, and in walking distance to the beach and an ABC store.
I signed the papers yesterday. If I’m reading my papers correctly, that means I’ll close on April 15. So exciting!
The list of pros for this place: two bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a sunny lanai for me to grow plants, hard surface floors for easy cleaning, a re-done bathroom with nice tile, nice appliances, and TWO parking spaces. In the picture below, it’s the upstairs unit.
Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! How exciting! You’ll get to do some gardening! Hooray! I am so happy for you! Yay!
CONGRATULATIONS BRAD! YOU DESERVE THIS! THRILLED FOR YOU! LOVE YOU! CAN’T WAIT TO VISIT YOU!
I can’t wait to see it!
