I’ve been trying to resist buying all kinds of new stuff for my condo. It’s been difficult – I love buying house stuff.
But along the way, I’ve been finding things that I already have that can be used in different ways. For instance – at my old place, I had a rug right inside the doorway that I could track dirt and sand onto and keep the carpet cleaner. That rug fits perfectly in my bedroom. Nice! I can walk on something soft when getting in and out of bed!
Hooray! It’s like you’re ‘shopping’ your own stuff! I love that. Gus seems to love it, too.
Methinks Gus wanted to see if you’d swept anything under the rug. Well…did you?
We want no more w-t-w carpeting are concerned with use of throw rugs we elderly (ahem) might slip on. A rug this size, though…thanks for the inspiration, sir!
I repurpose my own stuff all the time! It’s great to use what you have differently, makes it new again!
