Shopping and Sitting

Yesterday was Saturday, so Lauren was off from work. We had a “Lauren’s Day of Fun”. Yay!

First, we went to Et Cetera. That’s the thrift store in town. It is such a great place. Lots of really good stuff. I got some song books I can use in church.

Next, we went to Lincoln. Lauren’s big wish was stopping at a furniture store that sells one of everything. It’s a showroom that has things on display, and that thing is the only one. You buy it off the showroom, and they bring a different thing out from the back. It had a lot of cool stuff, but most of it was way too big for my suitcase.

The rest of our time in Lincoln, we were in the mall. It was great. Lloyd looked for a wallet. His quest brought us into the western store. I love it in there. It’s so interesting.

So many boots.

So many boots.

In the evening, when we got back to Seward, we went to see their friend Mark’s house. He’s just finishing building it. It’s so cool. It’s modern and minimalist and so clean-looking. We chatted with Annette and enjoyed the view.

Thank you so much for my perfect day of fun! The only thing that could make it better is if I could magically have that house. Or its twin. 🙂
