Nap and a Game

Yesterday after church, I was feeling tuckered out, so I stretched out on the couch and took a long nap. ahhhhhh…

In the evening, we went to Samith and Stephannie’s 25th wedding anniversary party at the Saltdogs ballgame. As we were entering, it looked like it might rain:

But after a little sprinkling at the beginning of the game, the weather settled into a cool, overcast night. It was delightful. The stadium does a really good job of engaging families and kids. It had a very wholesome feel to it.

We stayed until the last inning, then left to get Lloyd and Lauren’s other car. Lloyd left it in Lincoln super-early yesterday because he was meeting up with co-workers to fly to a technology convention in Philadelphia. When I got home, I did check though. The Saltdogs won! Yay!

Those are good photos of the stadium. I think that if every baseball game had that kind of weather, I could be a super-fan. Somebody said, “This feels like early football weather.” I would assume that this statement is correct?
