Lost and Found

I’m planning a trip to the Philippines in October for my fall break. My passport has expired, so I need to get a new one. My old passport is too old for me to just renew, so I have to start from the beginning, which requires my birth certificate.

I opened all my boxes looking for my birth certificate. I didn’t find it. Dang. I’ve started the process to get a replacement copy. It will be here in less than two weeks, then I’ll have to do an expedited passport. I should still get it on time. But I certainly won’t be dragging my feet about it.

I may not have found my birth certificate in all the boxes, but I did go down memory lane. I have lots of old papers, pictures, and toys from my childhood. It was fun to look at it all.

Here is one treasured possession I’ve kept all these years:

It’s a Micronaut! I loved him! When I was a kid, Micronauts were very popular. I wonder if he’s worth something… would I sell him if he were?

If you don’t sell him, you should find a way to display him on your wall. The geckos will honor him as their warrior leader.

Or display him in your new bathroom! Warrior against shower mold! Unless he’s worth a million dollars, let him help you enjoy your memories.

    Your Mom definitely thinks he’s worth money…just sayin’… 😉

Here you go. You can track value and choose to hold ’em (keep) or fold ’em (sell):

It’s great to have old toy memories like this that last so long!

Interesting… Not enough to sell him though…
