Rolling in Toner

I have a laser printer in my classroom. It’s really nice to have, because the school copy machine that I normally print to is kind of far away. My laser printer toner cartridge has been low since the end of last year. I wanted to replace it, but a replacement cartridge was over a hundred dollars. Yikes!

But when I was browsing Amazon the other day, I saw off-brand cartridges that were crazy cheap. I not only ordered a black cartridge, but I got color cartridges as well. Yay!

They work!

They work!

Having color cartridges means I can start adding new funny cartoons and signs to my classroom wall. (That’s all I use color printing for. Ha!) My first new addition was an old favorite of mine: the velociraptor-free classroom sign.

The chicken game has been there a while, but I also really like it.

Ha! I love your posters! That color printing is so addictive, and I don’t blame you one bit. It’s nice that it’s your printer in your own room. (I used to get so mad at the old center because I bought the color ink and was so stingy about it.)

Color just makes the world better! I see a far side funny as well, love those! Color, humor, Jesus and patience….. all you need! (Not necessarily in that order)

    Oh, the chicken game!!!!

Will you be updating the velociraptor counter daily?

I changed the number this morning, but I don’t know if I can keep it up forever. Maybe I’ll put a kid in charge of that…

This is why I miss you. You always made me laugh!

At my school if I attempt to print in color I get a pop up message that tells me how much it will cost. 4 cents per page. That is enough to deter me.
