Jet Lag

I’m posting a little late. I’m adjusting to the new time here. I laid down for “a little nap” and woke up a few hours later. I didn’t sleep a lot on the way here I guess. At least not as much as a normal night.

The travel itself was great. We did “economy plus” and boy, was it nice. It reminded me of my first days of air travel. The chairs were bigger and comfortable.

There were many amenities. They gave us little towels to wipe our hands with, and eye masks to sleep with, and even slippers. The meals were on little trays and had so much food I couldn’t finish it all.

Our connection was in Taiwan. It was fun to walk the airport a little. We found a place to sit for a while, then we were on our way. The next flight was more like other flights I’ve taken lately. The seats weren’t nearly as comfortable. I watched part of a movie and dozed a little.

We arrived safely. I was so worried about the air travel this time. I’m glad everything was smooth. And I’m in the Philippines! Yay!

Wow! That meal looks better than anything I could ever prepare. I think it’s time to live full-time on an airplane.

What an adventure you have ahead of you! It’s already awesome!

Slippers and eye masks? Boy you are uptown! How cushy! You deserve it! I’m sure that helped a wee bit with your travel worries. Thank you for sharing your trip! Can’t wait to see what else we get to do!
