Waterless Watch

I put my watch into rice a week ago. I checked it a couple days after, and there was still water in it. I checked again last night, and it looked completely dry!

I have to admit, I didn’t really think it would work. I mean, lots of people talk about it, but lots of people also talk about looking forward to their daily exercise sessions, or how much they like champagne. Yuck.

But, by golly, my watch is really dry. The rice really dried it out. It worked!

Hooray!! I am so glad that it worked! Lloyd gave me a whole big explanation on why it works when I was arguing that in the case of my keyboard, a fan would work just as well. The rice is good for when a fan can’t get to the sealed components since it makes the environment drier or some such thing? I didn’t pay attention because I was so involved with my fan story.

Exercise and champagne – you crack me up!

Amazing on your watch! I know…. how, how? And actually, i like to exercise…. so i can eat cake….and can enjoy a glass or two of champagne….. if it’s a really really good brand and really cold and in a pretty glass and a pretty color and for a special occasion…. otherwise i’m with ya. Hey, sir, do you have the time?
