Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

They’re Zany to the Max

Comic con was here again yesterday. It really does seem to be getting bigger and better each year. This year, there seemed to be a particularly large numbers of people in costume. It was awesome. I forgot to wear my Superman shirt, so I felt kind of left out.

I didnt get many costumed people in this picture.

Last year, I met an artist who worked on Ren and Stimpy. This year, it was The Animaniacs, and Pinky and the Brain. The prints were so inexpensive, I got two. And he signed them! So fun!

Very cool! I think I would like to see a comic con someday. It would be like dipping my toe in another culture, but one where I semi-speak the language.

Awesome prints. Will you hang them at school?

How fun, but i’m with Lauren, a new culture to me, don’t know of who you mention? Does that make me old or just not comically knowledgeable? Those are fun prints! You should put in your bathroom and start those colors in there with towels and accessories! Would sure wake you up in the morning. I first read it as they were “expensive” so i laughed that you bought two! Go brad! Haha

That’s very cool! Signed Pinky and the Brain poster… I’m jealous. 🙂

When I saw (just a few minutes ago — I’m working my way backwards through your archives) your posted picture of “Super Gus,” I immediately thought that Gus wore an expression that Brain would be proud to claim. I didn’t post that as a comment, though, as I was not sure if you would take that as offensive in some way. But now that I see you are a fan, I feel that perhaps you will find the comparison flatteringly inoffensive. Super Gus, trying to take over the world, same as every other night!!
