Yesterday started with excitement: snow! Yay! I was hoping to see some!
After church, we headed to Omaha to pick up Denis. He’s come to celebrate New Years here. On our way to Omaha, we stopped at the outlet stores. I didn’t get anything. It was still fun to window-shop.
We got Denis, then headed back to Lincoln, where my Uncle Paul and Aunt Linda were having a party to watch the Ravens vs Steelers game. Several of my cousins were there. It was so fun to see them.
It snowed while we were there, so the trip home was a little tense, but we all arrived back safe and sound.
Deborah joined us at Lloyd and Lauren’s for some snacks, drinks, and conversation. Then we watched a little tv, and went to bed.
Ahhhhh….. a very fine day, indeed. …..except for the icy roads. I could have done without that. Welcome, Denis!
