Yesterday at my school we had a car wash. But instead of charging or asking for donations, it was free. It was just a free car wash. We advertised it to our parents, and held some signs out by the road.
I didn’t help with the washing the whole time. Saturday is my “grading papers” day. I graded a little, then went out to help. It was fun. We got to sit and chat between cars. I got to chat with people I haven’t spent any time with since covid. I was glad to get the time with them.
What a great idea. People need a little happiness.
