I got my second dose of covid vaccine yesterday! Woo hoo! Maui has fewer doses than they anticipated, so they’ve suspended first dose appointments temporarily.
They made my second dose appointment a walk-in. Rachel picked me up yesterday and we went to the hospital. This appointment was much faster than last time. I walked in and got my shot immediately. Then I sat in a chair for a while to see if I would have a reaction.
I did not. And now my body is manufacturing the elements that will make me invincible! Muah, ha, HAAA!
I just hope you are prepared for the enemies that will try to take you down, ShotMan…….. (serious music swells)
You super hero you!! You need a special cape, maybe one with a big “C” on the back of it…
But, seriously, good for you. I’m not signing up for anything (appointments here now go to March anyway) until I feel confident we have enough material available here to administer both doses. Apparently, not necessarily the case at present. So…still masking, sanitizing, and distancing, as I imagine you will be as well for a while yet.
