My mom and I slept in yesterday, then went to school so I could do my usual weekend work. She helped me with the paperwork, so it went faster than usual.
Afterward, we stopped at Ross and TJMaxx. It was fun! I saw some decorative wooden letters there, and couldn’t help but leave my mark:
I also got a new lamp for my living room. I’ve needed more light by the couch. Now I finally have it:
In the evening, we went to Maui Brewing Company restaurant. They have converted to almost entirely outside dining. It was lovely, and the food was good.
I had previously missed that the room divider in their main dining room looks like grain heads. How clever!
When we got home, we watched an episode of the Crown, then went to bed. What a delightful Saturday!
Oh, it looks wonderful! Much better than the multiple inches of snow that we are having here, and the single-digit temperatures. Tell your Mom she’s there at the exact right time. 🙂
