It’s been hot here lately, so when I get home, I crank up the air conditioning. But by the time I go to bed, my bedroom is still kind of warm. It makes it hard to sleep. I’ve been taking a cup of crushed ice to bed with me. I eat it and swallow it whole while I read, hoping the melting ice cools down my core temperature. I think it helps a little. I sure would just like it to be cooler though…
Ugh. I am so sorry. Being hot when it’s time for bed is a bit of a nightmare. I’m glad you found something that is working, and I have no (realistic) suggestions.
Unrealistic suggestions:
Begin your night’s sleep in a hammock. Hammocks always make my shoulders and back cold.
Douse a shirt with water and aim a fan at your check full-blast.
Move to Alaska.
😀
‘Chest’, not check. Or…. maybe blow money at a check. What do I know?
