One of the plants on my lanai needed replacing, so on Friday afternoon I potted a begonia cutting I’ve been growing for a while. It looked like it would grow very nicely there.
Until yesterday morning, when I saw a big hole in the potting soil. Something was digging in there.
Another plant had soil dug out of it as well. In Baltimore, I would have said it was a squirrel. Was it a bird? A mongoose?
Whaaaat?? How is that possible? Do you have a lost squirrel who thinks it needs to prepare for winter? “THERE IS NO WINTER THERE, SQUIRREL.” There. I hope that helps.
