Yesterday, we went to meet up with my Uncle Paul and Aunt Linda and my cousins. My Aunt Bev was also there. It was so fun to see them. It’s been a while. Paul and Linda have a new cat. His name is Jeter. He showed himself after we were there for a while.
From there, we went to Beaver Crossing. It’s a town where my Brother’s wife’s sister lives. She and her husband own a hardware store there. Brent and Sandra gave me a gift certificate for the store, and I went to spend it. The whole gang was there… Brent and Sandra, Harold and Beth and kids, and my mom. I got a flashlight and some pocket knives.
After that, we all went to a place called Sparetime for dinner. It’s a bar and restaurant that’s connected to the bowling alley. “Spare” time. Get it? Ha!
I watched a little TV with Lloyd and Lauren, then headed to bed. Another full, fun day.
What a delightful day! That hardware store looks amazing! That’s my next vacation destination. I’m not kidding.
It was brave of you to travel yesterday since our roads were getting icy. I’m glad you were safe and I’m extra-glad you got to see such a beautiful cat. 🙂
