Since I’ve come back from Christmas break, I have hardly had a normal class day. We started back on January 3. I had two days, then a weekend. Monday, January 7 would be the beginning of a full week of normal classes, but then I had jury duty the rest of the week. This week looked a little more promising, but then Wednesday, the eighth graders all took a day to visit the high school. They were back again yesterday, but then it snowed. We were out at 1pm.
Will I ever get back into the groove of school? It’s not looking good. Today is a one hour delay, and Monday is MLK Day.
Maybe I should get another job on the side or something. Or start a hobby. Or stalk someone. I’m not so good at managing extra time. Last night I spent a few hours sitting at my computer playing a game from the Bejeweled website called Zuma and a new game I found called Fancy Pants.
Dang this unregular schedule!
Is that a gazebo on your school grounds, or are you on the set of a musical?
“I am sixteen, going on seventeen. . . “
GET OUT!! I just typed “The Sound of Music in Winter” and deleted it! Freaky Deborah!
Lauren – you just made me laugh during a test! The kids were sitting here working quietly, then “HA HA, HE HE!”
Any suggestions for a musical title?
Anytime I can mess with the young minds of America – happy to do it!
You’re not out today, though? Crazy schools! Bet they don’t do that in Nebraska!
So, you get out early for a little dusting of snow like that? Heh.
WOOOHOOOO for snow! Peggy’s prayers have been answered with a YES!
YAY FOR SNOW! However, because my son took my car to FL recently & took all my stuff out of the car … I had nothing to clean the car off with yesterday. But I did find a ginormous tube of suntan lotion in the trunk & the non-lid end worked like a charm … sort of …
have you tried playing bloon?? My boys were talking about it the other night? Tell me if it’s appropriate.
With each other, or with a girls?
