A Tidy Profit

As I was moving back into my kitchen, I decided to change the water filter on my refrigerator. I don’t follow the recommended replacement schedule, but every once in a while I remember to do it.

When I pulled on the little screw-on plastic cap on the filter, it cracked. I noticed it was a little discolored. I think the soot might have corroded it. The kitchen was pretty sooty after the fire.

I went online to find a new cap. It took a little searching to locate a white one. Black or grey were easier to find. I was a little surprised at the price. It’s just a small piece of plastic, but it cost me $14.45. I wonder what percent profit this is making?

I probably could have left it off, but then there would have been a big hole there.

… a little hole for a mouse to sneak into. Good call replacing it. They both look very happy.

I don’t know what the schedule is for changing those filters. We have never replaced the one in this fridge, and it’s three? four? years old?

You are suppose to replace yours when water doesn’t come out of it. No Joke, that’s what it says.

    Hello. Is your refrigerator running?

And wow…..you are really in an ultra- accomplishing gear! I’m not even on the bike yet….just looking at it.
