Unexpected Fun

Yesterday was a parent/teacher conference day. I did some grading between appointments! Yay!

I was done with appointments at noon, and was undecided about what I would do …would I keep grading? …would I leave? But then Josh invited me and Russell to lunch. Decision made!

But before we left, we loaded some constructions materials into a storage container. It was a lot of work, but it was great exercise, so that was good.

We’re getting new bathrooms at school over spring break! I’m excited about it. One of our congregation members is a retired construction guy, and he’s arranging all the contractors and overseeing the project. He’s going to do it right. It will be beautiful!

I took a “before” picture yesterday, so I wouldn’t forget to do it:

That is a wonderful thing! You were smart to take the ‘before’ photo. You’ll wonder how you managed with the older version. 🙂

Seeing a snap of ANY boys’ restroom brings back (fond?) memories of the one in the middle school building of your former school…the joy pf discovering un-flushed toilets…the interesting graffiti on the dividers and walls…good times (?)

Congratulations on the plumbing upgrade there – may it serve your students well for years to come.
