Yesterday morning started early with Preschool Sunday, the day when the preschoolers sang for church. It was super cute. That did a great job.
I worked at school for a while, then headed home because it was Ed and Jo’s last day. They left late last night.
We went to La Perouse Bay and saw the lava fields. Then we went to Outback for a very delicious dinner. We were home by 7:30pm, at which time I got ready for bed. I needed to rest up for the week.
As it turns out, I didn’t take any pictures, so here’s a picture of a boat from after the sun set on our whale-watching trip. It looks artsy, so I’m saving it in the memory archive.
Wow – that photo is calendar-worthy. (And terrifying. Beth send me a hilarious quote that said, “The ocean is just monster soup.” Hilarious!)
I am so glad Ed and Jo got to come out for a while. What a great time for all of you!
