The last time I was grocery shopping, I got rice pudding. I haven’t had it for quite some time. It was delicious.
The carryout places in Baltimore all seemed to offer rice pudding. It tasted slightly different from place to place. One of my favorite sources was the place across Harford Road from my house. It was called Zorbas. It’s been gone a LONG time though.
But I can still enjoy rice pudding from the grocery store. Not as good as Zorbas, but sprinkle some cinnamon on it, and it’s a great treat. Mmm…
‘Some’ cinnamon? Could you see into the future after eating it? “Dune….. Arrakis….. dessert planet……”
I don’t think I’ve ever had a proper rice pudding. Rice with sugar – yum! I think I’ll need to try this. 🙂
