I got a package in the mail yesterday. It had this in it:
It’s a cool book from CPH that’s about hymns and their origins. I remember looking at it in an email from CPH and thinking I would enjoy having this book.
…but I don’t remember ever ordering it.
Did someone order this for me? If so, thank you so much! I love it! If not… um… I’m glad I have this online memory archive, because it seems like my wetware memory is failing faster than I thought.
UPDATE: I figured it out! The associate pastor from my church here has been away in Texas for quite some time because of covid and other issues. We have worked closely together (at at distance) for the past two years on worship arrangements. He shares my love for hymns, and when he saw the book, he decided to get it for me. He was going to email me about it, but the book came way faster than he expected. We were both laughing in our messages to each other, because of course it was him.
