I stopped at Whole Foods for some tres leches cake yesterday. If you’ve never tried tres leches, allow me to highly recommend it to you. It has “three milks” – evaporated milk, condensed milk, and heavy cream. It also has a lot of sugar. Mmmm…
But my post isn’t about the cake, it’s about the fork. They had wooden forks. Wooden! I didn’t notice a wood flavor, like those little paddle-spoons that come with the tiny ice creams, but I did notice a wood texture as I put it in my mouth. It was weird, but not weird enough to put me off of wooden cutlery.
Also, here’s a picture of last night’s sunset. I am going to take as many sunset pictures as I can before I leave.
I think the actual name is much more appealing. “Three milks” puts me right off. 😉
That fork is super cool, and I bet it would burn nicely. Bring it to Seward, ok?
