Quick Post

I’m writing this post as my plane is about to take off. Yikes! No time!

here’s my flight info:

Monday, June 27
American #6
Depart Kaului 6:26pm
Arrive Dallas 6:33am (Tuesday)

Tuesday, June 28
American #2960
Depart Dallas 8:25am
Arrive Omaha 10:10am

Here are some pictures from my day:

Driving to Lahaina to return my cable box
stopping at Hilo Hattie’s to look at the clearance rack
They had something my size! Woo hoo!
This is a whole long story, but I’m VERY excited that Liz was able to get me this shirt. It’s a Target aloha shirt! I’ve been looking for one at goodwill for years now!

That Target shirt is hilarious! Was it an employee shirt or one they sold in the stores. So, so funny.

You’re in the air as I write this, and I hope you were able to sleep on the flight.
Goodbye, Maui – you were wonderfully entertaining to all of us in Bradaptationland!

Looking at the photo of your empty condo brings back memories of leaving an empty apartment behind as I left Seward. The U-Haul truck was pulling my car on a full trailer, and I had a CD player rigged to speakers. It was very early in the morning, the sun just coming up. I put in the soundtrack to Lonesome Dove and skipped to “The Leaving” track. It was the music playing behind this scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GkHot05TaM

Brad, God bless you mightily as you continue to serve him in great humility and joy, teaching new generations of a God whose love for them never changes, and is found in the life, death and resurrection of His only Son Jesus. That work and vocation is so very important to the Church, our society, our world – and those young ones for all eternity.
