After spending the morning at school, I went to my house to unpack a little. I decided to start in the kitchen, because the cabinets are already there and waiting to be filled.
It was interesting to have a new cabinet layout. I had to decide where things would go. I decided cups would go to the right of the sink. I opened the box labeled “cups”, and the first thing I took out was a mug that I made in kindergarten. I remember that it was amazing technology – I colored on a piece of paper, and they put it inside the walls of a mug! Incredible!
I think I was trying to spell “ice cream and peanuts” on this side:
It will go on the top shelf of the cabinet, and just be decorative:
After a while, I got tired, so I sat down to rest… on my NEW COUCH! Yay! I have a new couch! It’s part of a sectional set. It’s modular, so you can pick what pieces you want. I chose three recliners in a row. Three recliners!
I had the best nap. It’s so comfortable!
THREE recliners!?!?! That’s the holy grail of comfort! Lloyd and I will be right over!
I love your mug so much. I believe we did the same when I was little, but it’s probably still intact in a landfill somewhere. Keep taking photos – it’s so fun seeing this process!!
Your kitchen is awesome! I love the white and the fun checkerboard flooring.
Nice choice on the sectional.
