Clock Confusion

I am experiencing the Time Change for the first time in a while. It’s disorienting. Hawaii doesn’t change their clocks. I prefer that.

Didn’t I read somewhere they were going to pass a law and stop changing the clocks?

I have always said that if some politician made it their plan to abolish the time change, I would vote for them based solely on that. They could stand for anything else, and I wouldn’t care. I would be single issue voter for no more time change. I just want the time to stay the same. Do you hear that, politicians?

Ha! I love that you would vote based on that sole issue. It makes me want to run for office. đŸ˜€

I read some comments about how people felt about making the choice to 1) keep DST, 2) abolish DST or 3) make it permanent. They had maps to show which/when parts of the country would have sunshine before 7 a.m. and after 5 p.m. It was interesting hearing people’s thoughts based on if they were morning people or night owls, if they had seasonal depression or other preferences. I think I’m in the minority that just goes with the flow.

Senate passed a bill to make daylight time permanent (meaning we change again in March, but then never again), but the House has not yet discussed it.
    At least there’s something…

I’m all for leaving the time the same all year ’round. Let’s get SOMETHING done in Congress, right?
