Last night was the Christmas program of the younger grades. It was delightful! The kids did a great job singing. The readers were good too.
It was particularly fun to watch the kids play xylophones and drums. So fascinating!
We ended with “Go Tell It on the Mountain”, and the audience was invited to sing along. I love singing Christmas carols.
I sneaked out as soon as it was over. I’ve been staying out late a lot. Today should be an earlier day, though I’m hoping to stop at the grocery store on the way home. Tomorrow is our Christmas party, and I want to get some supplies.

Go Tell It on the Mountain is a real barn-burner. (Am I using that term correctly? Googles…. … I’m gonna go with it.) It’s a great song! Lots of oomph and gusto!
