Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

Capital Confection

Here is my favorite Easter candy:

It’s Robins Eggs! They’re candy-coated malted milk balls. Mmm…

But I don’t buy them very often, because I eat so many at one time.

I do have to go on record saying that I also like jelly beans. But Robins Eggs edge them out by a hair.

They look so dusty! Do they turn your mouth blue? I gotta think that they do……

Speaking of eggs, the first eagle egg may hatch today! The eaglet made a little hole Tuesday night, and my kids waited all day. Maybe today! https://www.raptorresource.org/birdcams/decorah-eagles/

Or Robin’s Eggs edge them out by a hare!

How big are those things? They look enormous!

    Haha! To answer the questions:

They do turn your mouth blue, but not as much as you might expect.

The are about the size of… a thumb? That is a close up picture. They are in a little custard dish. If it helps, the stone things in the background are standard-size coasters.

And where did you find them? I was looking for them on Sunday when I was picking up Easter candy…

        I got them from Target.

All our targets are out – I’d have to go to IL to get some. So I ordered three from target!

My fav also…I buy a couple of bags and hide them from myself so I find them in August and November. 😉
