Yesterday was the first day of May, so I turned my classroom calendars to the next page. I always have a Nebraska calendar next to my desk, and when I turned the page, I saw this:
It’s Branched Oak Lake! I know that place! I’ve even been there. I don’t think I remember the boat area. Or is that where I ate at a restaurant? Yes, yes it is where I ate at a restaurant.
Awwww…. Branched Oak! I think the first time I ever went there was with your family (I can’t remember if you were there, but your dad was.) We had a picnic? All I remember is we got chewed out because we didn’t pay for our spot, but I’m sure it was lovely.
I gotta go camping…..
