I saw the partial eclipse yesterday morning! Yay! The internet said it wouldn’t look like a ring from here… it would look like a crescent. It would be at it’s height at 9:24am. I went out a little earlier. The sunlight looked weird.
The picture doesn’t really show it I guess.
The sun didn’t look different to me when I squinted at it. I wondered if my phone camera would show it. I took some pictures:
The sun was just a bright spot in the picture, but the bright light reflection-thingy looked weird – it was a crescent!
I tried adjusting the exposure on my camera to get a clearer image:
Pretty cool! I heard on the radio that there is a full eclipse coming in a few months for North America. The NASA website says I won’t see that one though, so I’m glad I at least got a partial look at this one.

It was so cloudy here, the whole thing was a wash. Soooooooo disappointed…….
