My mom heads (headed) out this morning. Her flight leaves (left) at 8:58am. I dropped her off before school. Because I had school yesterday, we didn’t do much in the evening. I got home, we had dinner, and we watched The Crown. My mom binged it yesterday, and got current. She had started it last time she visited me in Maui 🙂
What a wonderful visit we’ve had. I’m so glad she came! It was fun to show her Bruno and my house and my work and places I go.
You are so lucky to have her as your mom. <3. She is awesome! Sometime I'll have to dish with her about The Crown. I'm all caught up, too.
Parents are such a blessing. (I know – they say that about their kids, too.) SO glad your Mom is able to travel and be with you at a holiday time like this. I was a teensy bit jealous to read how you enjoyed showing her off and around, though; both of mine have been gone for decades already. I do occasionally wonder what they would have thought about where I worked/work and what I’ve done with my life. But hey…they probably know. 😉
