Yesterday as I was leaving school, it looked like there was a fire on the horizon. Looking over, I saw that it was only a reflected fire – the fire of the sun bouncing off the shiny sky-scrapers of downtown LA.
I think I’ve posted a picture of this before, but I’m too lazy to go look, and I didn’t take any other pictures yesterday. National Lutheran Schools Week is keeping me so busy!
That is an astonishing sight. Imagine if people from the past saw that – they’d freak out in lots of ways.
