The Orchid Bloometh

Well, my guess that I would have orchids by New Year’s was off by several weeks. The bloom spikes on my phalaenopsis orchid kept growing and growing. They have finally bloomed. I love this plant! Once you site it in the right light, it’s so easy to care for. And the flowers will last FOREVER.
Or at least until June or July.

I no longer have a bathroom. I have an exotic tropical spa.

Where are we? Hawaii?

Absolutely breathtaking …… Brad, could I pleeeeease have this plant? Pretty please with real sugar on top? You really don’t need another plant for petes sake … you would never miss it. Once a plant is up & running I can usually keep it alive … for awhile …
(by the way, did you & Beth plan today’s posts … you with your pretty pink blooms & Beth with her blooming in pretty pink)

dang it … should have been … blooming pretty in pink!

(what can I say, I’m racked with pain … from my moler down to my soleus muscle, which I pulled -possibly’ve torn- Wed. sledding at John Carroll … ok, dancing around in my kitchen like a nut … but regardless I got good pain medicine & muscle relaxers … I just wish they didn’t work so well on the brain)

Dear “Peg Leg”; Hope you are feeling better today, but if not – I hear there is a new tropical spa open out of a duplex on Evergreen Ave. in Hamilton. You might want to check it out! The floral looks breath-taking…..the fauna? Needs more fur. (That’s the cat, not Brad…)

Thanks Lurker … I’m doing much better today, I think … I have spent the last 2 days at State’s Wrestling … yesterday I had a hard time getting up & down on the bleachers so I just held onto anyone near me, complete strangers … by mid day, people just put out their hands when the saw me coming, so I have lots of new friends now. But today I went to get a bottle of water at the concession stand and the lady taking my money asked me (very concerned like)if I was alright. I felt fine. She said I looked pale & faintly … so I figured it was a)drugs; b)the 1/2 jar of contaminated Peter Pan peanut butter #21111 that I ate the last few days; c)just my regular wrestling face. I asked those I was with when I got back & the consensus was … it’s just my regular face :(
