Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

First Whole Day

I always start my days back to school by doing the bulletin board in the front of my room. It gets me in the school mindset. I base it on the Bible verse for the year. This year’s Bible verse is from Proverbs.

It was nice to have only one goal yesterday. It was easy to focus and it was attainable. Plus, it left me time to jabber with people. I love jabbering when there’s work to be done.

I decided to go with a rememberable slogan for this year’s bulletin board. I always want to put something there I can refer to often during class. I think this will do it. I also wanted to use some cheery colors. Sometimes especially in January and February I need some bright colors. This bulletin board establishes yellow and orange as my main colors this year. I will use them on all the boards and signs in my room. Ehhxcellent!

The verse is on the path. Part of it says: 'He will make your PATHS straight...' Get it?

Well, just like last year, I’m very impressed. I particularly like the sky! I don’t know why it always surprises me when guys do something that looks so creative.

    Happy jabbering!

Say…if the religion teacher/chapel leader thing ever falls flat, I honestly think you’d be a more-than-adequate art teacher. I’ve seen enough of these now to have an opinion based on evidence, too – not just bias ‘cuz we love you.

When I need a pick-me-up this year, I’ll make the trek down the hall to get my orange-and-yellow fix. Thanks in advance for your contribution to my mental health.

You have always been an artist. I suspect you didn’t persue art for the same reason I don’t sew things for profit – it ruins a nice hobby.

Still I have that ceramic duck you made for me when you were in 4th grade and doing classes at Doolin (sp?) Art Gallery…maybe someday it will draw $3M on auction as your first work?

    I hate you (… just a little!)

    GOOD JOB!! It looks EXCELLENT!

But wouldn’t it be cool to have a little bunny in the grass … not the terrifying bloody beheaded kind … but the furry cute God created kind. It could be like a constant “Note to self” (He will make your paths straight…or at least your killing blows)

I love it! Awesome visual for the kids.
