Phalaenopsis Again

Well, it seems like I was just saying this only a year ago, but my phalaenopsis orchid is blooming again. It’s a little later than last year, but I think that might be because I repotted it.

The reason I repotted it was so it wouldn’t lean. But now the flower spike is making it lean like crazy. Maybe I should just cut the flower spike off. Then the plant would sit nice and straight. Stupid flowers…

Towering over the baby vandas.

Pretty and stripey. Like a floral blood-shot eye.

Thank goodness for your memory archive, because I just checked, and I would have made the exact same comment.

Instead, I’ll say that those flower buds look an awful lot like walnuts. Weird, man.

HA, I had to look back to see what you said, Lauren. It’s still true, so it wouldn’t have mattered if you said it again. Which made me notice that schools were delayed for RAIN this time last year. Fortunately, today is the first day it smelled like spring around here. LOVELY!!

How could one stem pull over the rest of that sturdy looking plant?

Could the vandas be trying to suck the life out of the phalaenopsis…it’s so hard to trust a vanda.

    Mmmmm…..Philianopolopississ. Wait a minute, Are philamopoopolopassis’s poisonous?
