Lost!

I lost my wallet Monday night. I was on my way home and stopped for carryout. I think while I was waiting for the food to be ready, my wallet fell out of my pocket. I didn’t notice it was gone until yesterday morning when I was putting all my pocket contents into my pockets and my wallet was missing. I continuously monitored my bank account online yesterday morning, then called the restaurant. No luck. Since no charges had been made to my card, I didn’t cancel it, hoping someone would email me or phone me or something. I’m pretty easy to find on the internet. No luck.

I canceled the card at 9:30pm last night. Dang. Now I’ll have to contact all the automatic payment places again. Didn’t I just do this? What’s worse, I’ll have to get a new copy of my driver’s license. What’s even worse than that, I’ll have to find a new wallet. I keep my wallet in my front pocket. I had purchased my old wallet only after weeks of searching. What’ll I use till then? A sandwich bag? Sheesh!

I considered not censoring the number in this picture, but I thought maybe it still could be dangerous to publish.

    Boooooooooooo. This is terrible!! 🙁

I hope that Murphy’s Law kicks in and after you get all your new stuff, your wallet turns up. Still lots of hassle, but at least peace of mind.

That just happened to me! Well, not losing my wallet, but my mittens and scarf. I do that every season, but this year I searched and searched and searched. Finally I replaced them last week – Wednesday after work. I got some wonderful mittens but probably more than I’ll ever need.
Less than 36 hours later I found my old scarf and mittens. I had already ripped the tags off everything and couldn’t return the new stuff.
Hopefully we’ll get a ton of snow and I can use the hand warmer pockets in the new mittens.

Did you check your frig and sock drawer?

But really that STINKS! I have an irrational fear of misplacing or forgetting my purse which contains my wallet. When I can’t locate it right away, my heart stops briefly. Did you experience that?

Hehe… I did not feel any heart palpatations. I did check my house pretty thoroughly.

I am a little worried that I will find it in a week or so and then feel like an idiot. But I couldn’t not cancel the card hoping that my wallet was somewhere in my house.

Did you check the drawer that holds your saran wrap and aluminum foil?
