Home and Garden(?) Show

I went to the Home and Garden Show at the Maryland State Fairgrounds yesterday. It seemed weird because I thought I remembered the Home and Garden Show happening in the late winter, not in the fall. But I’m always up for a garden show.

On entering the pavilion, I first walked through the right half of the building. It was full of home improvement stuff – things like siding, gutter covers, decking, and the like. I walked through the whole area just to be thorough. After finishing, I proceeded to the left half of the building …which was full of home decorating stuff.

What? Where were the plants? Where were the gardening materials? Wasn’t this a Home and Garden show? I was robbed!

Ouch. Did you complain to anyone? Maybe that hutch on the right is a garden hutch.

Also. I would like to point out the bravery of that dude/lady in his/her mis-matched pajamas. (Is he/she also barefoot?) That outfit takes some Home and Garden guts.

…and by right, I meant left. Directions are hard.

Ooooo….I would have loved the Home decorating side! I can get carried away with such things though.

(And I chuckled at the barefoot person too. It was chilly here yesterday…what’s with the no shoes?!? I wonder if he/she was also in search of the ‘Garden’ section and was just prepared to tiptoe thru the tulips)

      Re.: tiptoeing anywhere…
Why am I picturing a curly-haired Jewish guy from the late ’70’s singing this song on national television in a falsetto voice while strumming his eukelele? (A red squiggly tells me I spelled the small stringed instrument wrong, but it looked fine to me and nothing looked better that didn’t still get a red squiggly underline, so I’m leavin’ it!)
      …shudder…

I didn’t notice I got a picture of barefoot pajama guy until you guys mentioned it. I don’t know what his story was. He was very smiley. His shirt increased the amount of flowers at the show by 27%.

Did you ever think that maybe barefoot pajama guy really had these on? http://tinyurl.com/ye5qse9

Dark haired ukelele player with falsetto voice – Tiny Tim. Tiptoe through the Tulips made him lot of money. Weird, but apparently not really that weird. He played that act to the hilt!
