Happy Fourth of July! Yay!
Yesterday was a celebration of another sort – yesterday was Tim’s fifth birthday. We gathered at his house and had a very Star Wars kind of birthday.
There was a pretty big crowd there, which was really fun. We had much tasty food, including my first corn-on-the-cob of the season. It was sweet and delicious.
Lauren brought some Star Wars decorations for the cupcakes. She made the light sabers by dipping pretzel sticks in chocolate. And yes, she knows that Darth Vader uses a red light saber and that Storm Troopers don’t use light sabers at all. They’re cool looking, aren’t they? They were tasty, too!
Tim was a little bashful while we sang Happy Birthday to him. But he did enjoy blowing out the candles.

I thought it was interesting that the stormtroopers were so much more popular than theDarth Vader cupcakes.
