Smooth

Antonio made a lot of progress at my house yesterday. I can’t believe how smooth his work is. I have tried to patch walls before. My work is clumsy and obvious. I think once the wall are painted, you won’t be able to tell the difference between original wall and patched areas.

The vertical lines are all hiding wallpaper seams.

I was surprised to see that he worked on the downstairs bathroom wall. There was one wall that was horribly scarred by an old built-in shelf. My feeble patch jobs only seemed to make it worse. Antonio has resurfaced the entire wall. The entire wall!

Amazing!

Amazing!

I think the only reasonable thing to do is keep Antonio at your house – forever.

Then bring him to Nebraska, please.

Oo oo! What was the old TV show where the woman had her painter living at her house? He was always in his painters overalls, usually carrying a ladder, had a great first name I cannot recall now…anywho, yes, Antonio should just move in so he’d always be on call – when he was not repairing things at, say, I dunno, our own home, for instance…

I thought you liked your bathroom wall a little bumpy and uneven – you said it gave it character! Apparently Antonio didn’t like the look you were going for in there:)
Peggy & Carol … I absolutely LOVED watching Murphy Brown!
