A Package of Summer

I got a package! Actually, I got it a little while ago. I put the stuff all in a little pile so I could take a picture of it, but it’s been sitting on the floor for a couple of days.

I left stuff at Lloyd and Lauren’s house when I visited in July. Lauren sent it to me the other day. It’s an interesting look at my summer. The contents:

*The old sneakers I took. I had stopped wearing these shoes because they were old, but the ServPro people cleaned them so well, I wore them again.
*The tie that my friend Chelsea made for me in Hawaii. I’m really glad to have it back.
*Biotene toothpaste. This is an old tube, so it does not contain sodium saccharin. Woo hoo!
*A note pad my dad used to give me my cousin’s email address the day after my parents’ anniversary party. I’m glad to have some sticky notes in my apartment now.
*Some Biore strips Lauren and I used for entertainment one night in Nebraska. Have you ever used those things? The stuff they pull out of your nose skin is fascinating!

An interesting assortment.

An interesting assortment.

Thanks for sending my stuff, Lauren! But where’s that $1000 bill I left at your house? πŸ˜‰

Ha! I spent it on candy. πŸ™‚

I’m glad that toothpaste didn’t melt right out of the tube and coat the inside of your shoes. That box sat in my hot car for many days and the toothpaste may have cooked into a different substance. Sorry about that.

    Or a package of Sommerer

Now for the Biore Strips….are they only for the nose? I don’t feel like I have a problem with my nose….but my chin is another story.
