Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

Too Soon

Happy Birthday to my niece Anna! Hooray!

I started writing a post talking about how long my headlights have lasted. I was thinking that I hadn’t replaced a headlight since I bought my truck. But then I looked back in my memory archive and found THIS post. Apparently, I replaced my headlights on New Year’s Eve. And then I didn’t drive my truck for five months, and then my headlight burnt out. Something’s not right here.

At least it’s easy to replace the bulbs. Now if only they didn’t cost so much…

The plastic in front of the light is cloudy. I've been thinking about getting that clarifier chemical they advertise on TV.

Hmmmm… is it possible to have places where lights just burn out quickly? Our basement area seems to be cursed like that.

Good thing you replaced it yourself – I bet a mechanic would charge….$20? $30? $40? to do it? (I don’t know, so I’ll stop.)

Can’t you just stick one of those compact fluorescent bulbs in there? They have really come down in price, and I hear they last a long time.

    Well, that’s a heck of a thing!

If you still have the receipt, I would take it back. I don’t think bulbs should burn out that fast. Especially beings you weren’t even here most of that time.

Btw: Did your Hawaiian car sell yet?

My Hawaiian car did sell – right at the beginning of August. I’m still so thankful to the friend who sold it for me.
