I had a big envelope in my mailbox when I got home. It was from Maui! Diane sent me a disc of the spring musical from last school year.
The package was padded with newspaper. Gus really liked it. I only let him play with it for a while, because he started trying to eat it.
I didn’t watch the whole musical. I may do that this morning. I don’t work until 1 today.
Thanks, Diane! I’m so excited to watch the whole thing!
Oh, NOW I “get’ why Goliath’s name appeared on the envelope. I thought you had a new roomie for a minute there….This looks like a big production – were their talent scouts in the audience, I wonder?
“Stop eating that newspaper, Gus – it isn’t good for you!” (This coming from a human trying to get her 7-month-old kitty to stop eating the WALL in their hallway. One would have to see what he’s been up to to believe it…)
(Obviously “hanging” with young adolescents too long- note improper form of “there” used above. Sigh…)
Hey! I know those legs!!
How exciting that you get to actually see the musical instead of the inside of a giant’s robe! Can we all come over and watch it?
Nice legs.
I’m glad the disc arrived in good shape! We’re starting to practice for our 2014 Spring Musical called, “The Old Testament Fast Forward”. Perhaps you would like to try out for the part of Noah, Joshua, or David!! Personally, I think you would make a good King David with all of your musical talent! We miss you on Maui!
We just did Old Testament Fast Forward last spring! GREAT show. The audience & kids loved it. Good luck!
Knock, Knock,
Who’s there,
Goliath
Goliath who?
Goliath down, you looka tired!
Looks like an awesome musical with a real live giant!! Kudos to Diane for sending you a copy!
HA! Peggy wins the morning guffaw award from yours truly. “you look-a tired” – you crack-a me up, gal!
